Regulatory Requirements for Product Safety?
The regulation place a general duty on all suppliers of consumer goods to supply products that are safe in normal or reasonably foreseeable use.
Toxicological Risk Assessment (TRA)
To establish safety of a product, Toxicity Risk Assessment (TRA) is done by taking into account factors that include the toxicity characteristics of the individual ingredients, expected combined effects of the ingredients, the total amount of the material per package, the intended use of the product and the categories of consumers at serious risk when using the product, particularly children. Info. Tox. International, Inc. will also take relevant US, Canadian, European and British standards or
directives into account in assessing the safety of products.
TRA is considered as an alternate to Laboratory animal testing. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) endorses the use of alternative to animal testing whenever possible, to demonstrate compliance with the regulation.
Professionals at Info. Tox. International, Inc.
At Info. Tox. International, Inc., Toxicological Risk Assessments (TRA) are conducted by EUROTOX registered

cosmetics, hygiene products, children's products, play tattoos, cosmetic jewelry and general
